God Created Our Church
Are you a do-it-yourself person? Are you trying to do life alone? Are you facing the journey of this existence with your own plans and strategies? Are you planning to face your end, in your own strength and accomplishments, alone?
Our church is a community of people rescued from a do-it-yourself world. It is not a building, although it sometimes meets in a building. Our church is people, connected to Jesus. Who then connects to each other so that no one else will get lost in a life without Jesus. You don’t have to be an extrovert or social butterfly to be a part of our church. It means someone has your back. Brothers and sisters in Christ who are there to help pick up the pieces when life is crumbling.
Life is not do-it-yourself. Life is only possible when you are with Jesus, the One who saves and restores. There are people all around us who need to know the power and beauty of Jesus’ presence. You may be the one who can show them how good it is to know Jesus. Through faith in Him, we say together, “It is good to be with Jesus, now and forever”.
As Christians, you are part of what God is doing through the Lutheran Hour Ministries. Your support and prayers make a very real impact on this ministry each day. Remember the Lutheran Hour Ministries and look forward to seeing how the Lord will work through us.
