Maifest is Sunday, May 19, this year. We can use a variety of the following items for the Silent Auction!
Popular items we are always in need of:
Baskets & containers to use
filler fluff: shredded paper & bags
Brown grocery bags (we use a lot)
liners: fabric, cloth napkins, large doilies
Most any hand crafted item (crochet, knit, woodwork, ceramic, etc.)
homemade jams, jellies, salsa, etc.
MN grown maple syrup & wild rice
pasta & bread
tortilla chips & dips, boxed dip mixes
coffee & tea—any type or size
candy bars—from mini to XL
fine chocolates & candies that are packaged
snack sized nuts & chips
Writing pads, journals
Perennials & bulbs: labeled with name & sun/shade. Bring these the Friday before Maifest so they are fresh. PLEASE let us know what you are bringing ahead of time, so we are able to make sure we have spots for them throughout the auction tables. These are always bid on, and do quite well!
GERMAN, AUSTRIAN or SWISS ITEMS
Anything in good condition can be used. Bavarian clothing is also accepted.
If you have any questions, or want to drop something off, please contact: Ruth Bury at 952-955-2836, or Sue Eickschen at 763-479-3707. We appreciate your help in making this event great!
