Did You Know?
Following the St. Peter Rummage sale in August, 12 boxes of unsold mens, womens, and children’s clothing were prepared and packed for The Orphan Grain Train. Some ladies may recall making Pillow Case dresses for young girls in Haiti. Our donated items will be transported to the Minnesota South regional branch warehouse in Rochester, MN. The combined 18 regional branches collect, pack and ship about 150 semi-trailer loads of donated clothing, relief supplies, and humanitarian aid each year. The Minnesota South Division is dedicated to hands-on Christian humanitarian aid and disaster relief. Many shipments have been made in cooperation with Lutheran Hour Ministries, LCMS World Mission, and LCMS World Relief. Thank-you for bringing help and hope in the name of Jesus to needy people in the United States and around the world. If you would like to donate to the Orphan Grain Train contact www.ogt.org.
