LHM – June 2015 Message

Live a Life of Purpose

Jesus said, “I am the vine, you are the branches.  If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing…If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.  This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.”

Orphan Grain Train

Nepal earthquake victims are receiving food shipments.  Orphan Grain Train is arranging and funding the air transportation of over 14,000 rice meals.  Shipped from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport, the food will be delivered to Tribhuwan Airport in Katmandu, Nepal.  The hurting families in the village of Kothok receive physical, medical, emotional, and spiritual aid.  If you would like to help, checks can be made payable to Orphan Grain Train, marked “International Disaster Fund” and mailed to P. O. Box 1466 Norfolk, NE 68702.

It is humbling to hear the heartaches and stories of the families of last summer Northeast Nebraska tornado victims.  Over $70, 000 has been given directly to them.  It is a true blessing that Orphan Grain Train can express God’s love through the donated gifts and acts of kindness.  Several victims admitted they had not been in church for a while.  As a result of having their lives spared and receiving O.G.T. financial support and aid, they will be giving thanks to God and returning their family back to church.  We could not ask for a better response.
